Level Up! Episode #1

We are proud to present the first episode of our new podcast: Level Up!

In this first episode, Benoit and I discuss which level 7 encounter power he should take for his Drow rogue.  We also talk about options for a charging rogue, and finally discuss a heavy thrown weapon warlord that Hamblin has been playing.

If you like this podcast, or have any suggestions for future episodes, leave us a comment.

I had a lot of fun doing this. I do apologize, however, for my crappy sound quality, and plan on correcting that for the next podcast.

Good stuff. Enjoyed the podcast… Waiting for the itunes link 🙂

As a fellow gamer and podcaster (thought not on gaming), I’m really happy to see others out there. A gaming podcast that is sort of like yours that just closed it’s doors, but still has all it’s episodes on iTunes is Radio Free Hommlet at http://hommlet.com/.

I look forward to seeing you guys on iTunes. One thing to keep in mind is that there are already a few “Level Up” podcasts on iTunes, mostly on video games, so it might take a while for you to be accepted. Is there a variation on the name you could use, like “Level Up Table Top” or something like that?

Let me know when it is on iTunes so I can give you guys a good rating and review. Again, nice work!

  4. Hey fellas, just caught the first show – thanks for the bump!

You may want to consider associating with a podcast network if you haven’t done so already. It can be hard to get traffic to your stuff if you’re just out there all on your own. GM Chris and GM Dave of D20Radio.com and Jeff Greiner of the Vorpal Network (also Tome Show and TemporaryHitPoints.com) are good touchpoints for this and I would suggest contacting one if not both of them and see which network model works better for you.

  5. Matt says:

You guys have an RSS for just the podcast? It would be conveinent to just put an RSS into itunes.

    • Benoit says:

We’re fairly new to podcasting, so I’m a little unclear on what you’re suggesting. We have an RSS feed for podcast blog entries on the sidebar, and you can click on the little RSS icon there to subscribe to just the podcast postings. We’re also set up in Itunes, that’s the purple guy next to the twitter, rss, and email icons at the top of the sidebar. We did also submit an rss feed to itunes for what I think is just the audio file, is that what you’re looking for?
